The World of Indirect Tax
We welcome Greg Mayne - VAT Partner at Price Bailey, as our host on 'The World of Indirect Tax'. Greg has particular expertise on International VAT, supply chain and cross-border trade, and complex VAT issues.
He will be joined by Chris Park - Senior Strategic Alliance Manager at Avalara to present and discuss the digitalisation of indirect taxes and e-invoicing, including what this means for the tax profession.
With 175 countries now operating a VAT/GST-type tax system, the world of indirect tax is an important one for businesses and business advisors to consider. Clients, business contacts, and colleagues equally require frequent insight and updates on processes, tax mitigation and reduction of risk and exposure. This is very much the case with cross-border activities and the variations that exist between jurisdictions in terms of tax processing, obligations, and compliance as well as rates and tax liabilities.
