Our recent EMEA Fly-In Fly-Out event was a great success. Held on Friday 16th June at the majestic Polonia Palace hotel in the heart of Warsaw, it was well attended by an engaged and animated group of IAPA members.
With over 100 years of collective membership in the room, our members gained value not only through the round-table discussions and case study exercises with Martin Clapson, but through a very informative introduction into Transformation with Tomasz Wiklinski. Members then spent time networking with old friends as well as making valuable contacts with our new members.
On Friday evening, Tomasz Wiklinski from Thomas Sp z o.o. escorted members to an authentic Polish Restaurant in the heart of Warsaw, Specjaly Regionalne where we were entertained not only with a presentation on the history of Poland dating back to the middle ages, but with members making dumplings or 'Perogi' which were served to customers during the evening!
On the Saturday members gathered for a journey of learning and discovery to Krakow. With our expert guide Małgorzata Kasprowicz, members visited Krakow's Old Town, the Wawel Castle and its fire breathing dragon. The tour continued on to the Jewish Quarter where we walked around historic locations where Schindlers List was filmed. Our tour then ended with a meal at the renowned restaurant - Once Upon a Time in Kazimierz.
