IAPA Global Conference & AGM 2024

Thank you to everyone for making this year's conference so successful.  It was a hugely positive event with members coming together from all regions to share their experience, knowledge, and expertise in the vibrant city of New York.

The event was held at the historical The Martinique Hotel, situated in the heart of Midtown New York on Broadway. With a legendary reputation across its’ 125 year history, The Martinique provided a memorable backdrop to this year's conference.

CONFERENCE:

We were delighted to welcome so many new members to present at this year's conference as well as presentations from our LATAM region, long-term affiliate Avrio Advocati and the IAPA Center. This year's conference also saw two world-renowned Keynote Speakers join us:

David Toth from Winding River Consulting, presented on two areas of focus:

• Navigating Tomorrow: Strategic Insights for Sustaining your Organisation – speaking of how firms must “up their game” in the competition for growth
• The Three Pillars of Strategi Growth: Organic, M&A and Digital, which focussed on a growth strategy comprised of M&A, Digital and Traditional methods

Claire Carver-Dias of Clearday Communications, presented on the intricacies of the ‘Top Skills of a Leader’.

From the importance of ‘Authenticity’ and ‘Self Awareness’ to ‘Adaptability’ by developing resilience through change, delegates were put through their paces with powerful Roundtable Q&A discussions promoting effective question and listening techniques to assist leaders in problem-solving.

DINNERS & ACTIVITIES:

From a Scavenger Hunt at the American Museum of Natural History to dinner cruising along the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty, to the unforgettable Gala Dinner at The Milling Room where delegates and guests were entertained by the formidable Jonny Rosch Band.
