IAPA International Corporate Finance (M&A) Community Webinar

We were delighted to welcome members of the IAPA Corporate Finance (M&A) Community to our webinar recently. Held on 5th June, Simon Blake chaired a discussion covering key topics that are regularly experienced on deals, including:

  • How do we find sector multiples?
  • Are multiples different dependent on size, location, or jurisdiction?
  • Is EBITDA always the best starting point?
  • How do we calculate working capital requirements?
  • What are typical equity value adjustments?
  • What pitfalls have we experienced as a group with each of these topics?
  • When undertaking financial due diligence on working capital, what kinds of issues do we find?

Whilst Simon shared his own experiences on each of these matters, we were delighted to have such positive input from our members who attended the webinar, sharing their experiences and knowledge.
