IAPA was delighted to host the 2026 LATAM & US Conference in Mexico City, held at the stylish Hyatt Regency Hotel in the fashionable Polanco district.
Delegates had the opportunity to experience the vibrant culture and rich history of Mexico City—a destination defined by striking contrasts, where ancient architecture sits alongside modern skyscrapers, and landmarks such as the Baroque Catedral Metropolitana and the historic Palacio Nacional reflect the city’s diverse and enduring beauty.
Conference:
The conference, led by Martin Clapson - IAPA CEO, in partnership with BPLV Mexico, our member in Mexico, saw the conference bring members together from across Latin America, the USA, and Europe, providing a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships and explore new business opportunities.
Social Activities and Dinners:
The conference was accompanied by a relaxed and welcoming social programme, giving delegates and guests the chance to enjoy the true spirit of Mexico through its food, history, and iconic drinks. Guests took a leisurely walking tour through Mexico City’s historic centre, soaking up the atmosphere and stories of this vibrant city. A tequila and mezcal tasting at Botanero del Bosque offered a fun and informal introduction to two local favourites, while evening dinners at Porfirio’s and Saks provided the perfect setting to unwind, enjoy great cuisine, and continue conversations in a friendly, social atmosphere.
