IAPA is delighted to announce that registration is now open for our upcoming M&A Community Fly-In Fly-Out event, on Tuesday 10th September at the Marriott Grand Place Hotel in the heart of Brussels, Belgium.

Titled "The Role of Corporate Finance at Each Stage of a Company’s Lifecycle”, the day will be facilitated by Simon Blake and Jan van Wijngaarden and will bring together community members to participate in interactive workshops and discussions, with active participation from tax, legal and accounting specialists.

With the day comprising of four-sessions, each session will focus on a key stage of the ‘Lifecycle’. The Early Days: business planning, early-stage funding, valuing pre-revenue or loss-making businesses, incentivising key staff. Growth: moving to VC and private equity funding, keeping control, and acquisitions. Preparing for Exit: Who’s exiting! top tips, valuation, tax planning, influencing deal structure, data rooms, and preparing for the legals. The Sales Process: marketing, finding the buyer, timing, maximising consideration, contract issues, warranties, and indemnities.

With the objective to create stronger links, conversation, and collaboration across our global membership we highly recommend attending this one-day event, giving you, our members, the perfect platform to share knowledge and opinions and create an impact with our international membership.

As a service line that requires focus and continual learning, we encourage member firms to support younger colleagues to attend this one-day event, as well as managers and partners whose specialism revolves around Corporate Finance / M&A.

• This ‘Fly-in Fly-out’ event is free of charge to IAPA members.
• To facilitate members early morning and return flights, the event will be a 09:45 for 10:30 start with a finish time of 16:30.
• The Marriott Grand Place Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Brussels-Centraal train station with direct links across Europe and the UK.

• This event will not include an evening dinner & social.
