About Wilson Elser

While Wilson Elser is the preeminent defense litigation firm in the United States, our reach is decidedly global in scope and significant in scale. We help foreign-based insurance carriers, insureds and individuals navigate the complexities of the U.S. legal and judicial system, enabling them to succeed in our notably litigious marketplace. Related matters commonly involve product liability lawsuits, conflicts with business partners, and other unwelcome disputes that improperly handled can cause an organization serious monetary and reputational harm. We regularly defend individual and class action claims brought against our foreign clients, serve as their national coordinating or monitoring counsel, or protect their interests as part of the reinsurance or excess tower. Conversely, we provide experienced counsel to U.S.-based clients with business interests abroad. Wilson Elser maintains practices that serve various countries and regions around the world. Practice attorneys understand the culture, customs, statutes (or their equivalent), regulations, and treaties of these international jurisdictions.
