IAPA’s 27th Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2019 Conference, held at the Gran Melia De Mar Hotel, Mallorca welcomed 72 attendees from 41 member firms and 25 countries. The CEO was delighted to open the conference welcoming new and existing members, prospective members and strategic partners.
The specialist forums provided much insight into Blockchain, Human Resources and Corporate finance and legal which were greatly received. The main working programme incorporated professional speakers, sharing their expert knowledge of VAT Digitalisation, VAT Recovery, Managing and Maximising People Performance and Client Focused Collaboration.
The AGM was a platform for transformation as members voted for new EMEA board members. Congratulations to Neal Morrison (Ireland) who was re-elected as EMEA Chairman and to Javier Sanjuan (Spain) who was also re-elected on the board. Further congratulations go to Antony Goichon (France), Claudia Keidies (Germany), Tomasz Wiklinski (Poland), Petros Yiakoumi (Cyprus) and Christian Zeller (Switzerland) for being elected for the first time. And, a big thank you to Juergen Liebhart for his board contributions over the past many years, who has now retired.
It was great to see friends, meet new members and hear from industry experts.
