members from the LATAM Region share their recent activities with our Global Membership.
It has been a busy Q1 2025 for LATAM Members; from holding a successful technical webinar in January to hosting the LATAM Regional Conference in February, followed by the launch of two regional Committees, to support and drive professional advancement across the region and internationally.
IFRS Webinar
The recent IFRS webinar hosted by IAPA LATAM was a remarkable success, drawing over 480 registrations and engaging 264 active participants. This high-impact session provided an excellent platform for technical knowledge sharing, featuring insightful presentations from several partners across the region. The strong participation and collaborative atmosphere highlighted the LATAM community’s ongoing commitment to continuous professional development and regional expertise exchange.
LATAM Technology and Artificial Intelligence Committee
The newly established LATAM Technology and AI Committee is another exciting step forward. With professionals from multiple member firms actively participating, this initiative aims to drive regional innovation and foster cross-border collaboration. As part of this effort, we recently hosted a practical workshop on emerging technologies, drawing 45 participants from various Latin American firms. These collective activities are helping to enhance digital capabilities and technological integration throughout the region.
LATAM Commercial Committee
The LATAM Commercial Committee has also been launched, focused on creating the foundations for joint business initiatives across the region. The committee is developing a unified catalogue of specialised services, establishing regional pricing frameworks, and sharing market intelligence to facilitate collaboration on cross-border projects. This initiative is designed to unlock synergies and drive business development opportunities among IAPA LATAM firms.
LATAM Regional Conference – February 6–7
On February 6th and 7th, we successfully held the LATAM Regional Conference, bringing together representatives from all six countries currently active in our region. The event featured a strong quorum and vibrant discussions around regional priorities, operational synergies, and the future of collaboration within the IAPA network. The conference highlighted the growing alignment across LATAM firms and reinforced our shared commitment to strategic integration and professional excellence.
