Congratulations to two Baines Jewitt Directors, who have recently celebrated 30 years’ service.
Anne Cowley FCA joined the firm - then known as Baines, Goldston and Jackson - in 1989 after graduating with a degree in accounting and finance. Anne qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993, was made a partner in 2003 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2004. Anne provides accounting and taxation advice to a wide range of local businesses and individuals. In addition, she is on the board of trustees for a local charity.
Don Adams FCA also started in 1989 - joining Jewitt, Sparrow and Swinbank - as a trainee chartered accountant on a four-year training contract. Don qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993; was made a partner at Jewitts in 2002 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2003.
Anne and Don are two of five directors who head up Baines Jewitt. Talking of their long service to the firm, fellow Director Trevor Cook said: “We are delighted that, not only did Anne and Don choose our firm to start their working lives, but both stayed to develop their careers and help take our business from strength-to-strength. Between them they have a vast range of experience and a loyal portfolio of clients, who truly value their professional expertise.”
