Akshay Oke is a Chartered Accountant and CEO & Managing Director – LeazeOn Private Limited. He has been an instrumental member in the development of a software product – LeazeOn which addresses IFRS 16 Leases accounting and disclosure requirements
Akshay has more than 11 years of IFRS, US GAAP and financial reporting advisory experience. He was earlier associated with one of the Big4 consulting firms for more than 5 years. Currently, he is a Partner at FinPro Consulting, CEO & Managing Director at LeazeOn Private Limited and Senior Consultant at Manian & Rao, Chartered Accountants.
He specialises in providing technical accounting and IFRS / US GAAP implementation services to leading Indian and global companies. He has been involved in several IFRS implementation projects in India and abroad across various sectors namely, information technology, automotive, facility management, engineering, real estate, mining, pharmaceutical, retail etc.
He will give us a brief about IFRS 16 followed by case studies & a demo of the software for IFRS 16 Leases accounting and disclosure requirements. The webinar shall be for approximately one hour followed by Q&A.
