IAPA is pleased to announce that IAPA and the UK200Group have agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the two associations.

This confirms that both organisations will work more closely together to add value to their respective membership service offerings.  The histories of the two associations are very similar, both being founded by the same person, David Turnbull.  IAPA has always had a close connection with the UK200Group, whose members have always been affiliate members of IAPA.  As from 1 April 2018, however, the UK200Group will officially become a full IAPA UK National Accounting Group (NAG).

Martin Clapson, IAPA Global Chairman comments:

'IAPA is delighted to welcome the UK200Group into the association as a full UK National Accounting Group (NAG).

This agreement allows a solid platform for the two associations to openly share regional, national and international resources, expertise, service offerings, events and networking opportunities to the greater benefit of members and their clients.

The UK200Group and IAPA share a common ethos and culture that is dynamic, aspiring and client focused. We look forward to our members being able to take advantage of the new business opportunities this official partnership will lead to.'

Declan Swan, CEO of the UK200Group said:

'We have enjoyed a positive relationship with IAPA for many years. This MOU however, strengthens the links between both our organisations and will further help our members and their clients to take advantage of international business opportunities which will be very important in a post-Brexit world.'
