This spring brings several important updates from the team at SCI Group, including the expansion of their service offering, insights into Argentina’s evolving economic landscape, and strengthened cross‑border collaboration through the IAPA Association.
Industry and Policy Update:
Argentina is currently undergoing a significant economic transition, with a strong focus on fiscal discipline, deregulation, and macroeconomic normalization. Recent measures aimed at reducing inflation, stabilizing the exchange rate, and simplifying regulatory frameworks are shaping a new business environment.
In this context, while short-term challenges remain, we are observing a growing need among companies to improve efficiency, strengthen financial planning, and professionalize management structures. At the same time, there are early signs of renewed foreign investment interest, particularly in sectors such as energy, agribusiness, and technology, although still with a selective approach.

In line with the evolving business environment, we have expanded our approach beyond traditional accounting and tax compliance, incorporating a more comprehensive perspective focused on business structure, financial efficiency, and decision-making support.
Thought Leadership:
Based on our close work with clients, we have identified that one of the main current challenges is not only financial or tax-related, but organisational. Many SMEs are reaching a stage where growth requires a shift from owner-driven models to more structured and professional organizations.
In this context, we recently launched a new division: SCI HR & Transformation, aimed at supporting companies in improving organizational structure, leadership development, and operational efficiency. We believe this reflects a broader regional trend, where the quality of internal management is becoming a key factor for long-term sustainability.
Inter-regional Collaboration:
As part of the IAPA network, we continue to actively support cross-border activities, particularly assisting international clients seeking to establish or expand operations in Argentina. We value collaboration with other member firms and see clear opportunities to further strengthen joint work, especially in projects related to regional expansion and advisory services for SMEs operating across Latin America.
Additionally, we are very pleased to have been selected as hosts for the LATAM Annual Meeting 2027, which will take place in Buenos Aires. We believe this will be an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships within the network further and promote regional collaboration.
